Walters Math Unit 3 Wrap Up

We are wrapping up Unit 3 in Math this week.  The children are bringing home a unit study guide tonight.  We will be taking
our unit test on Wednesday.  We have learned many new geometry concepts throughout this unit, including...how to measure angles and what the sum the interior angles of a triangle are.  Did you know that the interior angles of a triangle are 180 degrees?  We have also reviewed the terms acute, obtuse, reflex, and straight angle.  We even learned what an adjacent angle is.  We have been learning a lot about the properties of a polygon and even a regular polygon.  The children learned that a regular polygon has equal sides and angles that are equal.  It has been a fun unit to teach!  We have learned lots of new concepts.

Hang on because after fall break we will reviewing division and learn how to divide decimals.  It should be interesting.

Need a reminder about partial quotients division...
