We are looking forward to a wonderful trip to Southern Indiana this Thursday and Friday with our fourth graders. We wanted to send a few reminders out about the trip so that you can be prepared for packing and drop-off/pick-up times. Please see below for some brief notes and a photo of the packing list we sent home in the packet several weeks ago.
- DROP-OFF on Thursday morning is at 6:00 a.m. Parents/Guardians will need to bring them to school. We will have a light breakfast and load the buses. The goal is to pull out of Webb by 6:15-6:30. If your child is not here by 6:30, they will have to stay behind. Thanks so much for your help in getting them here ready to go and on time.
- NO CELL PHONES at all. We are allowing devices for picture taking if they choose, but we would prefer them leave all devices at home. The adults will be taking many photos and will share those out upon our return.
- PICK-UP is on Friday at 3:30 p.m. They will need an adult to pick them up no later than 3:30. Thanks again for your help getting them home after our trip. I'm certain they will be exhausted and excited to share the details of the trip with family! :)
- Keep the packing simple and make sure your child wears COMFORTABLE SHOES (no flip flops, sandals, etc.)-- tennis shoes are best. (see the list below)
- SACK LUNCH for Thursday-- If your child does not want to order a sack lunch from the cafeteria on Thursday, please send in a disposable sack lunch with them. Otherwise, we will order one for them from our cafeteria. We will provide water to drink with their sack lunch. This is the only food they will need to pack to bring.
- Room assignments will be given once we reach the hotel Thursday evening. They will not know until then. Mrs. Moran and Mrs. Clendening are finalizing those assignments between now and Thursday.
- MONEY for souvenirs-- If your child wishes to bring money for souvenirs, that is perfectly acceptable. They will be in charge of the money, though, and we are not liable for lost or stolen money.
- MEDICINE-- All medicines (even over the counter) were due to Mrs. Hasseman this past Monday. If you have something that your child MUST take daily/nightly, please contact the office and/or Mrs. Hasseman to discuss it. It must be brought in by an adult and not packed with your child.
